I'll take you to the shore

to show you the dog rose

Venturing within the sea to experience the shoreline.

Adopting forms and sympathetic found materials from the Isles of Lewis and Harris, sculptural objects reflect the mystical nature of the shore.  The works make visible natural processes; encrusted in salt and washed by the sea, and draw on the language of being both on and within saline waters.

The installation includes 'all the waters', a series of texts documenting direct experience of different bodies of water within and surrounding the Outer Hebridean islands. The texts document material qualities of the waters as affected by weather, the elements and light, whilst bearing the mark of the personal.
